One of the biggest changes coming up at the Missourian is that we’re moving to publishing only five days a week — Tuesday-Friday and Sunday. That’s a big change from what we’ve done in the past, but it’s also a good plan and one that will help us cut expenses a lot.
We’re also working concurrently on a Web redesign — the reasons for that are a little more than I want to get into right now, but it’s basically related to a new content management system for our Web and print products.
Anyhow, a set of Joy Mayer’s design students is looking at possible options for the Web site. The discussions are very preliminary at this point, but it’s a set of very bright students with good ideas.
